TREETOP APT

Warsaw

A two-storey apartment tucked into a Warsaw tenement in Mokotów—one of the city’s most established districts, shaped by pre-war modernism, embassy life, and a rare abundance of parks and green space.
The renovation turns the city into a softer backdrop—bringing calmer mornings, easier entertaining, and a daily sense of retreat through light, views, and better flow.
Spaces were reconfigured from a blank slate, relocating the kitchen, fireplace, and stair to face the greenery and pull the outdoors closer.
An upper library became an open mezzanine, linking both levels and letting the home breathe.
Timber ceiling battens soften sound and echo the canopy outside, while expansive glazing frames the treetops beyond.
In the main bath, a tub set into a bay window makes a simple ritual feel quiet and restorative.
