HOTEL JAKUB
Krakow
A boutique hotel concept in Kazimierz, Kraków’s historic Jewish quarter—an area shaped by deep cultural memory and a living, vibrant street life today.
Designed as a calm retreat with immediate access to world-class dining, cafés, museums, and nightlife, the hotel offers guests intimacy without losing the city’s energy.
A checkered façade of anodized gold—solid panels and glazing—signals renewal, referencing a golden age while staying unmistakably contemporary.
The massing is pushed to the zoning limits, with large dormers shaping the roofline and giving the street a new, optimistic silhouette.
The project spans three properties across parallel streets to form two buildings around a courtyard, bringing daylight and orientation into the heart of the plan.
That courtyard is carved down two levels to unlock more program and light, with a restaurant, bar, and gym facing inward to create a sheltered social core.
145 keys.
