FLORENTINA ITALIAN RESTAURANT
Beijing
A warm, theatrical dining room in Beijing’s Lido Park, opening directly to the garden.
Designed for midday ease and evening romance, it pairs an intimate atmosphere with kitchen theatre and dramatic views to the park beyond.
Multiple large pivot doors spill guests out over a marble landing that steps down into the outdoor dining garden.
Inside, woodcut-pattern wallpaper—Italian countryside under stormy skies—sets the tone, grounded by marble tile underfoot.
A glass wine cellar glows behind the bar, while slanted cube lights and explosive brass fixtures bring warmth and shadow to the room.
Banquettes and semi-private nooks create quieter corners, with a punched view to the chef’s kitchen keeping the energy close.
Designed in collaboration with Emma Maxwell.
