CAFE 27
Beijing
A garden café inside a restored glass greenhouse in Beijing’s Lido Park.
By day it’s bright, calm, and social—an all-season escape that anchors foot traffic and makes lingering feel easy, even in the middle of the city.
An exterior wood trellis gives the pavilion its identity and softens the sun, while pivoting doors open the café to a promenade for fresh air and indoor/outdoor flow.
Inside, a living green wall and a ceramic tile bar bring colour and texture, grounded by terrazzo flooring that acts as thermal mass for passive comfort.
Organic coffee, salads, and Japanese pastries keep the offering clean and light, with the pastry kitchen revealed through a punched opening—turning craft into part of the experience.
Featured in the Mercedes-Benz Beijing City Guide, the café became a destination as much as a daily ritual.
